7th November 2005, 6.55pm: Hope Street, City Centre, Glasgow
Only a minute or so after the last umbrella, 50 yards further, it's twin - an identical blue - abandoned on Hope Street, outside Dino's, broken on the floor of the pedestrian crossing. All this is accompanied by an old burly drunk, oblivious to the downpour, railing against the world and throwing all he can find at it, before eventually casting off his coat into the road and walking away up the street, unhelpable but hopefully to home.
