8th March 2006, 11.15pm: Eglinton Street, Tradeston, Glasgow
Out late with work, and make the wrong decision to tube it home from the Hillhead in the West End to Bridge Street and then get a bus the rest of the way. Unfortunately there are no buses going my way, so end up walking while cursing, feet hurting, home. This red umbrella a silver lining; abandoned in what is effectively a no-man's land of waste ground. I nestle down amongst the litter and take photos as taxis flash white-light, red-light past.
