6th April 2006, 6.50pm: Langside Road, Govanhill, Glasgow
An early evening walk after a day stuck inside through something I ate. Take a long looping walk in the hope that the high winds and rain of the last two days might bring an umbrella. Am almost home - still empty handed - when I come across a black umbrella abandoned in the weed strewn front garden of a rundown tenement. I snap, scoop and walk on home happier.
