Tuesday 10th April 2001 – 8.08am
A cold wind from the North today. The same boat as on Sunday – Mona – is getting prepared again this morning, though is still on her mooring. The Channel is busy with gulls, their cries hidden under the wind and traffic. Above the clouds are looking fine. Directly over me they look like the fluffy pastiche clouds from the Simpsons. In front over the Fells though they’re still thick and overcast.
