A bright morning, with wind now from the East, cleaning and shining the start of the day. North in the Lakes you can just make out snow on the tops of the Fells, visible through the morning haze. On land and water everything seems quiet, with Walney in sunshine, and with the old Methodist Church looking bright, rather than its actual forlorn state.
