An overcast day with only a smidge of blue showing up above, but perhaps it will clear later, as it has for the last two days, into a glorious bright warm day. The tide is at its absolute lowest – you could play football out on the banks by North Walney, and the wind is pushing at my back, coming reasonably out of the SW.
