May Day Bank Holiday Monday, with the water high and the air clear. The day looks pure, even through sunglasses. The day is so good there are even speedboats out on the North end of the Channel, pulling water-skiers along behind. This is the kind of day to take the pictures for. All days count, but some more obviously than others.
