Tuesday 15th May 2001 – 7.20am
A drizzling day, wilder than the last few good days, with cloud filling the sky, and the air finding movement again – a light wind from the East. The rain is barely strong enough to worry a new hairdo but it will keep us all inside for the day. On the water everything is calm, the breeze only creating a slight roughness on the surface of the water. In the distance Black Combe is peaking out, but almost cloudbound.
