Still this morning with only a light flutter of wind from the southwest. The remains of the Channel look dirty this morning with scum floating around the water’s edge near the bridge. On the Promenade the long line of trailers sat waiting shows the number of overnight fishermen still out there, probably getting ready to return when the tide turns.
