Sunlight and wisps of cloud away, over the Lakes, but above Walney and me all is flat grey, and the Channel is dark because of it. There is a fair NW wind blowing in, turning some of the boats on the sides of the Channel. The water looks disturbed and restless this morning as the tide begins its first influx of the day.
