16th February 2006, 8.15am: Gorbals Cross, Gorbals, Glasgow
Another find in the Gorbals, not far from the spot where a couple of weeks ago I watched someone pick up, open and walk off with an umbrella I was about to photograph and rescue. The city now is busy with rush hour, and me on the way to work: a frustrating cycle ride down a sometimes bus lane that must stop periodically at one traffic light following another as the road negotiates the Gorbals.
