18th April 2006, 6.55pm: Pollokshaws Road, Gorbals, Glasgow
A bright warm night and a clear evening, but the going home is slowed due to the long gradual climb from the Gorbals to Govanhill being attempted against a stiff south wind. I come across this umbrella by the St Andrews Print Works, a building still in use by Glasgow City Council, but now somewhat dilapidated and in all probability waiting for the M77 extension and probable demolition.
