A happy sunny day, with a cold wind from the West, filling in in blusters. It’s so bright. Black Combe seems further away than normal, with the rest of the Lakes clear and fully visible looking out beyond Barrow. On the water all the boats are afloat but on the Promenade there’s only one trailer. Will tomorrow be like this, and be the first big trailer day of the year?
