Sunday 18th March 2001 – 11.14am
A cold sharp day with a strong East wind blowing in from some place far away. Black Combe looks lovely in the sun, and today would be a good day for climbing up and looking back along this view, if it weren’t for the Foot & Mouth which has shutdown the hills. From here everything looks perfect – strange how a picture can’t always show you everything.
