Sunday 29th April 2001 – 9.55am
Down to the low point of the tide it seems, with no current to show for in the water. Underneath the bridge a motor yacht is creeping through ever so slowly, inching forwards to check the mast tip against the bridge curve, before heading off down the Channel and to sea. Today’s weather is wind and cloud, with no wind able to come and blow fresh new weather in. There is however some brightness in the sky out over the sea so maybe there’s time.
