Monday 30th April 2001 – 8.14am
Monday morning bright and fair. Low tide is approaching and all the boats, even those beached, have their backs to me, their bows pointing north to Black Combe, which sits clear and full but in shadow, covered at its peak by a white cloud lit up by the sun. A good day hopefully with a light wind from the north and sun in the sky.
