A calm day, with the regular moan of tyres on the tarmac: with each car a ‘thump’ as they pass over the bridge join. Occasionally, there is a shake from a bus or lorry. Out there its low tide again, the boats aground and skelter, with one motor launch getting ready to go out, the tender just launched, and the boat now being prepared.
