Black Combe is resplendent; its innumerable shades of green gleaming in the sporadic sunshine. Thick cotton wool clouds meander across the deep blue sky, perhaps nature’s way of coyly suggesting summer has not yet commenced. The water, not unlike the clouds, moves with a slow and quiet power.
