Down close to low tide on the water, with a few boats readying to leave before the tide turns and flows back in. On the slipway a few boats are launching, and there are trailers parked up along the Promenade, while on the Walney shore two kids are meandering along the mudbanks. The day is in full sun, and is being cleaned and scoured by a good solid North wind sweeping in from over Black Combe and the Lakeland fells.
