The last day of June, and the day of Barrow Carnival. Yesterday began overcast and close but ended hot and mild. Who knows today? The wind has strengthened to a sizeable southwesterly; knocking out any closeness that might be in the air. Above the clouds are solid, a flat layer of grey funnelling the wind and occasional spots of rain.
