A calmer morning than yesterday's. The rain has stopped and the clouds have lifted, turning into a grey haze above us. The flags of Channelside are showing the wind from out of north-northwest, but they are still wet from all the rain, so are flying somewhat half-heartedly. Above, the air is full of the sounds of gulls, calling noisily and circling over the bridge and the nearby Vickers’ sheds.
