Light rain on a disconsolate day. Theres a light southwest wind
drifting in, but the sodden flags on Channelside have lost all heart
and droop glumly. Its a full tide, high up the banks too, but
today is not inviting. On the Barrow Island slip a small group stands
by an inflatable tender, not moving, waiting to go out to their boat;
perhaps arguing about the point of venturing out today.
