Wednesday 12th September 2001 – 8.31am
A fresh new wind in from the southwest this morning, pushing at my shoulders and teasing my neck. On the water the wind is holding back the tide, slowing its ebb out of the Channel. Above is full cloud, though not so thick and dense as yesterday’s, with enough light getting to the day. Inland the clouds are being broken up band scattered by the warm strength of the wind.
