Friday 21st September 2001 – 8.41am
A still day, with a drop of mist diluted in the air. The boats are at rest on the calm water. It’s low tide with only a light south-southwest wind rolling in. The water is like flat steel plate, each boat fixed onto it, and reflected in it. Away, the view disappears as the mist moves in, pressing at the horizon.
