Clear and bright, with the clouds far away, diluted across the Lakes.
The low sun hits the face of Black Combe full on, highlighting its
profile and its valleys. On the water high tide has just arrived,
and the current slacking. The boats are now just beginning to turn
on their moorings, coming slowly round to face into the icy north-northeast
wind driving into the day.
