In low cloud this morning, the fine rain settling on everything like
dust as it is blown in by the west wind. There is a high, high tide
this morning, the water already high against the sides, but more is
still arriving; being pushed on by the strength of the current and
the pull of the moon. The boats by Barrow Island slip are enjoying
the rarity of having their sterns wetted, and are beginning to float
up.
