The light is still limping into the day this morning, held back by the thick grey cloud above and around. There is a strong west-southwest wind pushing in insistently, turning all the boats to face Walney as it moves across the day. The day is still fairly quiet, with only mild traffic and the occasional speeding cyclist racing over the bridge towards Barrow.
