Tuesday
4th December 2001 9.36am
Half-tide, with birds searching the banks for easy shellfish, as seagulls
ride the strong northwest wind. The day is fairly mild for December
and clearer than for the last few days. The thick cloud has lifted
slightly and the cold southerly gales have lifted, letting this new
weather in. The number of boats on the water seems fairly stable now;
all those still there will have to brave the winter in the water.
