The Channel back down to low tide again, the few boats here now lying still on its glassy surface. The clouded sky is a greyed pink, the full clouds hinting at the presence somewhere of early morning sun. To the south though all is thick cloud and the sun is hidden from view, the day wanting to stay dark as long as possible.
