Boxing Day, the roads quiet save for a few cars and Christmas cyclists.
There is a light northwest wind blowing across the view with Black
Combe clear and showing brown and orange in the subdued grey blue
sky. The tide is beginning to recede, showing the wet dark banks as
it falls away, and the boats face north; their sterns to me, as the
Channel slips away past them.
