Grey and overcast today, spits of rain in the air, blown along by
a fresh northwest wind. The boats face into the receding tide as if
trying to block its path, as it snakes out of the Channel. Their gaze
is directed towards Black Combe, which is struggling to break free
of the thick cloud, her shape only showing to underline the grey mass
of cloud above.
