The storms that returned last night - dropping snow and rain
have left again, leaving a bright crisp day. The tide is stretching
up to its full height, aided on by a full moon today, and filling
the view with blue water, while wetting the undersides of the boats
berthed along the Barrow Island slipway. Away, Black Combe sits in
calm sunlight, the cold snow still at her peak, though perhaps diminished
slightly by the rain. A beautiful day for the world.
