Monday 26th February 2001 – 8.57am
A cold rainy day with strong blustery winds from the SE. Is this the bad weather we were promised for the weekend? On the water two lines of current are visible running right up the Channel like lanes to guide the incoming tide. On the foreshore, gulls are prising shellfish off the racks, flying up and dropping them onto the shore, trying to break and open them.
