A flatter Channel today, with the wind not so hard, and from the SW. The Channel is at half tide with the water swirling up towards the north end, not gung-ho, but moving calmly and responsibly. The bridge is pretty quiet, a sure sign that most of those going to work are in work, unlike the few like me, running late.
