A bright sunny day, with light wind coming in from the South. There’s a haze in the sky with only a small light cloud north, climbing over the west ridge of Black Combe. Otherwise, all is clear and sunny. Low tide again in the Channel, with the boats marooned on the channel floor, out of action and resting in the sun, like a field of relaxing cows.
