Monday 15th October 2001 – 8.57am
High tide, but the strong south wind is driving the water on like a devil at its shoulder; pushing it to greater heights. So the current continues, creating great swirls in the water as it passes through the bridge supports, almost drowning the mooring buoys clinging in their position. Ashore the trees are beginning to move from green to yellow and mid-autumn leaves now line the roadside.
