Low tide and west-northwest wind. Odd seabirds and seagulls scour
the bank, food tracking. The gull chicks are still brown and tawny,
but their colour fading now into white. They are now large enough
to be as intimidating as their parents are. Black Combe is topped
by cloud, but its green and brown sides stand out clearly, the largest
blocks of colour in the day. Traffic is building but otherwise all
is still and unruffled.
